| I have a completely AMAZING boyfriend.
The End.
more to come later. Edit:
I found some more time, so I'm going to explain what I was talking about. So my parents went camping this weekend, and my boyfriend came over. He told me like on Thursday he had a surprise for me. I just said "okay" and didn't really think much of it.
For those of you who don't know, I have a completely horrible relationship with my mother. And one of pieces of it I guess you could say, is that she's done a lot of wrong to me and others. One of the more trivial ones is that on my 14th birthday, she told me that she didn't want to spend the day with me, and that she would rather have gone to a football game. And she did. So I spent my 14th birthday completely alone. Happy Birthday to me right?
Back on topic--it was around one this morning, and he asked me if I wanted my surprise. Half alseep, I mumbled, "sure." And he started this story of how I told him about that particular birthday, and he said that it "hit really close to home. I couldn't even imagine what that feels like. So, I figured I would help you celebrate your 14th birthday.....5 years later." And he gave me birthday gifts. I was seriously, like in awe. I told him that he is amazing...many times. I've never had someone care about me like that. Ever.
All in all, it was a wonderful night. ♥ ♥ | | |

| Thanks to those of you for the good lucks and well wishes! I really appreciated it!
SATURDAY: Had to be in Federal Way (60 miles south of where I live) at 11, so I left early for that. Was there until 6:30-ish. Then drove Shontieka home and got to see her new house. After that drove to Puyallup (about 20 miles east of Federal Way) to drop off my cousin's card for her birthday and was hanging out for awhile, then ended up staying the night. Which was actually a slight problem here. Because my date was supposed to be at ten in the morning. And from my Aunt and Uncle's house it is an hour and a half to two hours of a drive (depending on if I go through Seattle or just bypass it) to my house. Then I had to wash the pants I was planning on wearing and then getting ready. I would've had to leave their house by 6 in the morning. Ishka. So I ended up calling him from their house asking if we could change the time for one. And we did so that worked out well in my favor.
SUNDAY: Left their house at 9:30 and got home at 11:20. Not realizing the fact that it was going to take me about a half hour to get to Lynnwood (where we met for coffee), that I had to be ready in an hour. Dear god. That was horrible. But I got ready in 45 minutes, so I was pretty impressed with myself. We got there at about the same time...he was actually behind me in the Starbuck's line lol. And he also said he was a little intimidated by me..because I was taller than him. Then I explained that I was wearing heels that gave me an extra two and a half inches....so things got better. *Mental note--no heels for Amber! Oh. Darn. : P*
We sat down and talked and drank our coffee. I actually had a deck of cards and he showed me a few magic tricks that he knew of and we ended up playing cards and drinking coffee for a few hours. And he knows that I liked books so he thought we should go check out a Borders he passed by on the way. So we ended up leaving my car at Starbucks and went to Borders. Found some really interesting books. We ended up walking around the outside portion of the mall (They have an indoor mall and outdoor mall. Confusing, I know), and then the inside. And let me tell you, I was pretty unhappy that I was wearing heels at that moment. Can we say "ouch"? Eh well, it was worth it. Then we had lunch, walked around some more, and by that point, decided to go to a movie. We asked some random lady while we were driving where a theater was, and found a really nice place. There weren't any movies that we wanted to see that were around that time (it was just before 6) and we both really wanted to see Disturbia, so we did. But it didn't start until 9:20. So we went to another Starbucks for some comfortable chairs, and on our way there, he decided he wanted to hold my hand. Which was a little awkward at first, considering he kept trying to hold my left hand and I'm left handed, but we got it all figured out. But Starbucks didn't have any comfy chairs, and was packed so we ended up going to the food court and just sitting there talking, and started to play cards again. He got to know my competitive streak pretty damn well. Ha.
After awhile, the mall was closing so we went to the theater, hoping for a lounge or something of the sort. We found a little area and sat around there for an hour or so. Again, he kept holding my hand, even while we were sitting at the table. It was cute : ). I'd be lying if I said I didn't like it! Eventually the theater opened up for the movie, and he asked me if he could put his arm around me during the movie, and I said okay. Besides for millions of people interrupting us by going by during the ENTIRE movie, it was really really REALLY nice. He let me put my head on his chest. And man oh man did he smell good. Uffda. I actually picked up the shirt I was wearing that night and it kinda smells like it lol. Sad, I know. But what was even better, as soon as I laid my head on him, he kissed the side of my head (because I didn't want to kiss him quite yet, and he respected that)...it was cute! While his arm was around me, he kept sort of drawing circles on my arm. It was nice. He does the same thing when he holds my hand. Teeheehee.
Well, the movie ended and then we went back to his car, and drove back to my car. We were sitting in his car....and stuff....not going into detail here....and then a cop came because there was a suspicious car next to another store but in the same parking lot. So we decided it would be a good idea to stop because...yeah. Well, I got out to start my car to get it warmed up (it was quite cold outside, and there was quite a bit of condensation on my windows), and he waited for me outside. I was freezing and told him so, and he held me to get me warm. At that point, I asked him if he wanted it to end, and he said no. I decided to invite him back to my house...seeing as how my mother would be out of town until yesterday. But it was under the conditions that NOTHING and I meant absolutely NOTHING would happen, and don't expect anything. And he obviously agreed. So he followed me back to my place, and we started watching Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (and for those of you who actually pay attention, CHARLIE and the Chocolate factory is the new one, not WILLY WONKA, btw). And I discovered he could sing. Ahahhaha. I loved it. Well, considering I didn't go to bed until 3am on Saturday and was up at 7am, I was a little tired. I kept drifting off during the movie, and once again, we were in the same position that we were at the movies. So by the end of the movie I was pretty damn tired, and neither of us wanted to move. So we fell asleep together that night. So I finally found the remote (thank god it was right next to me on the couch) and turned the tv off. He gave me a kiss goodnight and during the night he kept holding my hand while we were sleeping. I couldn't sleep for very long because for one, that is just my sleeping pattern, and for two, I don't exactly sleep sitting up on a regular basis. So I felt bad for waking him up during the night. Well, it was around six when he woke up, I was like halfway awake, and he woke me up with a kiss on the cheek. Let me tell you, that was probably one of the best ways to wake up in my life. We just sat around and talked and stuff, didn't even move out of each other's arms. Then he left around eight-ish, maybe nine-ish, because I had to clean and stuff before the parents came home.
And that was it. He called me when he got home yesterday, and last night. And he's gonna call me either Wednesday or Thursday. But we want to get together again, but don't know when. The only weekend he's not busy in June is the one weekend I'll be out of the state. Like seriously. WTF. Oh well. Good things come to those that wait.
I think this is the longest blog I have ever written. Like in my life. So I'm gonna go for now.
Thanks again for all the warm wishes!
